As I sit here in time

You burden my rest

For why aren't you here?

Is this but a test?


A test of my will

To love and obsess

We could have been one

But you're stubborn at best


Forget all your pride

As they will forget

It's not a cliché

To fall from the nest


The nest of your peers

From where you were left

When they disapproved
