Sit Tightly Young Men

Strung up on glue

And no place to call home

The soles of their feet

Ground down to the bone

Though back when their mother

Kicked them out her front door

Their souls were intact

They’ve endured worse and more

So sit tightly young men

And patiently watch the world

Your faces may be unknown

But your voices aren’t unheard

And when it all feels hopeless

And you feel like giving in

Just know that it’s your duty

To never let them win
